The Hackathon’s purpose is to present the advantages of Low/No-code tools by using domain-specific languages (DSLs) in the modern world. Specifically, in this hackathon, you will create applications that solve classical programming problems with two DSLs, a graphical and a textual one. The graphical DSL is called “AppCreator” and follows a drag-and-drop logic, where the application is a graph of commands like “Set Variable”, “Log”, etc. The textual DSL is called “PseudoDSL” and resembles languages like Python, C, or Assembly. It has been created with a direct link to AppCreator, since a program in PseudoDSL can be transformed to a program in AppCreator and vice versa. During this hackathon, you must decide which approach you prefer most by filling out related questionnaires.
