HACKATHON DESCRIPTION

This hands-on workshop offers a journey into Model-Driven Engineering (MDE) and Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs), bridging the gap between theoretical software concepts and creative game development. Participants will begin by exploring the core principles of MDE and DSLs through the lens of the Alleviate project, followed by a live showcase of the platform and its specialized GameDSL. Then, the participants will see how different retro games are constructed using these tools, ultimately allowing everyone to design and build their very own game.
